The Bob Graham Round

Andrew McEwan has completed this 70 mile, 42 peak fell run/walk with 28,000 feet of ascent on 25th May 2008, in 23 hours 15 minutes. 28,000 feet is about as high as Mt Everest.

This really is a fantastic feat of endurance particularly for someone who lives so far away from a fell. His blog is worth reading from the beginning HERE.

Makes Tennysons' Monument look easy eh?

More information about the Bob Graham Round can be found HERE.

If anyone is interested, there is a good book on the subject. It's called, "Feet in the Clouds". I can't tell you who it's by, as I can't be arsed to get out of bed and have a look!
