The Bramley 20

Four West Wight Road Runners competed in the longest race of the Hampshire Road Race league the Bramley 20 on Sunday 15 February 2009 which turned out to be a dry day without much wind ideally suited to road running. Andrew McEwen paused on his way to go on holiday long enough to lead the team home once again with a fast time of 2:21:23 in 167nd position. Gareth Knight finished in 223rd position and 2:26:44, third West Wight Road Runners was Ian Jolliffe in 393rd with a time of 2.41.33. Fourth runner was Paul Scivier 494th in 2:49:41.
