Stubbington 10k

Ten members of West Wight Road Runners turned out on a beautiful, sunny, but cold, day to take part in the popular “post Christmas” Stubbington 10k, the first HRRL race of 2012.
The men did very well, with Andrew McEwen first WWRR home, in 98th position overall, in a field of 1466, in a time of 39.13.  He was followed by Paul Judge 42.32, Gareth Knight 43.32, Ian Jolliffe 46.23, Nils Jolliffe, making his debut for the club, in a very creditable time of 52.11, and Brian Amy 57.09.

The ladies were led home by Sarah Smith, making her second appearance for WWRR, in an excellent time of 54.21.  She was followed by Madeline Goodman 56.12, which was good enough for 1st Lady Vet 65, Chris Amy 57.45 and Cherry Owens 57.48.
