Chris Prichett has competed in two Mountain Marathons this season. A brief explanation follows.

MOUNTAIN MARATHONS
A Mountain Marathon is an extended form of fell running that takes place over two days and has a strong orienteering element. Competitors usually participate in teams of two, and have to be self-sufficient for the whole event, including carrying their own food and tent, to enable them to endure long days in the hills and an overnight camp in a remote location. Therefore, fitness, event strategy and navigational skill are necessary for success.

RAB MOUNTAIN MARATHON
Chris Prichett            (Solo)             3rd in age group and 22nd overall

OMM MOUNTAIN MARATHON
Chris Prichett with Anthony Rose  6th place in category and 26th overall
