Wednesday Run, 20th September

Dear all,

Between the committee we have agreed to change the planned route for tomorrows run. This is due to the poor weather forecast for Wednesday meaning there won't be much of a sunset and the terrain will slippery.

Instead, we will meet at the Sports Centre at 6.30pm for 6.45pm start and will take a safer route around Freshwater. The route is approx. 5.5 miles and is all on road: https://gb.mapometer.com/running/route_5482158.html 

Please make sure you are wearing high-vis and a torch.

Hi All,

This week sees the last of our Summer runs, and we will finish the season as we began, with an out and back run to the 'Needles Look Out' from the Highdown car park ... To get the best of the light please meet at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start. The route will be approx 5.5 miles long with options for shortening. The route is all off road so you may wish to wear trail trainers especially if it has been wet in the lead up to Wednesday, also please bring a torch as you may need this as the light fades.

The new run schedule will be available soon, if anyone would like to lead a run on a specific date from the sports centre, please let me know, I'd be really grateful for some assistance 

The pattern for Autumn/Winter runs will be: Away run, 1st Wed of the month all other runs will be from West Wight Sports Centre.
