For this weeks run we will be joining the Vectis Lunatics for their monthly 'Full Moon Hash' and I have the following message from the Great Dictator of Vectis Lunatics: Aaron "Sweater" McGrath,
"The plan is to start and finish at The Vine (Freshwater), arrive 6:45pm, hash brief at 6:55pm and r#n from 7pm. Around 4 miles (plus checks and fishooks). It is mainly a running route with no one left behind. There may be some walkers who will follow the route as far as they want before they get thirsty and head to pub. All the markings will be explained beforehand. Basically find and follow the trail. Normally £1, but new rule, free February on a leap year (probably won't be any virgin Down-Downs). Will try my best to keep route dry(ish) and not too muddy. On-On!"
There isn't much parking at The Vine so you may wish to park on the roads nearby or at the sports centre car park.
WWRR 28th Feb - Advanced notice: As we will be holding our Club Annual AGM directly after our run in Brightstone at the Wilberforce Hall we will begin at a slightly earlier time than usual of 6.30pm. More details will follow but we hope to be able to all share some snacks and drinks and hold a free raffle at the AGM so if you would like to attend, please feel free to bring a dish and a raffle prize :)
