This week's club run will be from the Jubilee Car Park at the top of Lynch Lane (W3W ///weep.gloves.receiving) above Brighstone. The routes each have two hills. For those who haven't run this before I won't tell you how long they are!
Our run coincides with the partial (almost complete) eclipse of the sun which is due to be at its maximum at 7.14pm (starts at 6.18pm and all over at around 8.08pm). As Mottistone Down will be a good place to view the eclipse Jubilee Car Park may be popular but hopefully there will be room to park. The 5kers may like to extend the first leg of their route to the bronze age burial mound on the top of the hill to see the eclipse (shown as Harborough Barrow on mapometer) then double back. PLEASE BE AWARE that you need specialised SOLAR ECLIPSE GLASSES to look at it directly. We don't want anyone damaging their eyes!
The kitchen of the Three Bishops in Brighstone should be open until 9pm if anyone wants to eat there afterwards (but worth checking on the evening).
See you on Wednesday
