For this week's run meet at the car park opposite The Griffin in Godshill (https://what3words.com/barstool.grumble.haunts) - 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
There will be two route options:
Both routes will visit the Worsley Monument which involves a steep climb - but we will walk up it! On the 5.2 miler, there's a couple of miles of road and the rest is tracks or footpaths which are rough underfoot in places. On the 5k, the road element is more like a mile.
By coincidence we run past the Rusty Meadow campsite which Alfie spotted is hosting a 5k and 10k event on Sunday. The kitchen at The Griffin should be open until 9pm if anyone wants to eat afterwards.
